  In my humble opinion there is nothing that truly differentiates one furniture retailer from another with the exception of the. Ashley espouses a customer service-oriented approach and having worked there for all of 4 months in a role that exposed me to the business from end to end I can tell you that they make some people happy and just as many unhappy and whether you fall into one or the other group you're just as likely to have an issue with either the service or the product itself. If you're looking to purchase a large set of furniture it's probably best to do it in person, but if possible I would recommend scouting furniture at retail locations and then see if the piece(s) are available from Wayfair, Amazon, or some other intermediary retailer that mitigates some of the service and product quality risk you may have to endure as a result of your purchase.
